Banner exits 'World News,' stays at ABC
Longtime "World News" producer Jon Banner is departing this program for any new publish at ABC News. Effective Monday, Banner will end up senior professional producer, making them accountable for division-wide initiatives. He'll are accountable to Ben Sherwood, the Alphabet's news division topper. Sherwood is boosting Michael Corn from senior producer to professional producer, overtaking for Banner. "As senior producer from the broadcast, Michael has assisted lead our coverage of breaking news occasions all over the world, in the West Virginia mine disaster towards the Gulf oil spill to all the historic occasions this season,Inch Sherwood stated within an internal memo. Banner went this program throughout ten years that saw four anchor changes.
