Inarritu Up For That Revenant

Connected to the revenge dramaAlejandro Gonzalez Inarritu isn't any stranger to difficult subjects, getting directed the kind of 21 Grams, Amores Perros and Babel. Therefore it makes lots of sense that Warner Bros. may wish to attach him to dark revenge drama The Revenant. Modified by Mark L Cruz from Michael Punke's novel, the plot follows real-existence frontiersman and fur trapper Hugh Glass, who's left for dead by his buddies following a bear attack within the 1820s. Though two males volunteer to bury what everybody assumes is his corpse, they rather take advantage of after which desert him within the freezing cold of South Dakota. Driven by rage and driven by revenge, Glass survives and sets on a 3,000-mile pursuit to return at individuals who've harmed him. Revenant continues to be something of the troubled child for filmmakers, because it was initially setup by Park Chan-Wook with Samuel L Jackson within the lead. Then word showed up the Road's John Hillcoat would tackle it which Christian Bale was seriously thinking about nearly dying to check out the primary role (okay, not the study, but he was thinking about playing Glass). Hillcoat, however, rather centered on crime saga The Wettest County on the planet and Bale never committed. Can Inarritu have it made? Well, he is doing know a great deal about dealing with more compact budgets, so he is able to likely accomplish the tricky tale for any more desirable cost pleasing towards the studio's bean counters. But because of the good reputation for that one, we'll wait and find out...
